One of our advantages that enable us to service our customers in a timely and efficient manner is our well-equipped fabricating shop. Our shop is conveniently located in Troy, NY, near several major interchanges (I-90, 787, I-87). We have 2 main shops with an overhead crane capacity of 27 tons in the south shop and 22 tons in our north shop. Access is easily accomplished through 4 large overhead doors.
Items Fabricated include pressure vessels (i.e. columns, reactors, buffer tanks, condensate tanks, etc.), piped skids, API tanks, breeching, stacks, sterilizers and autoclaves, heat exchangers, pollution control equipment, R & D projects and many others.
We work in a variety of alloys: carbon steel, chrome-moly, stainless steel (304, 316, 309, 310, 317, 321, duplex, H-grade alloys, etc.), nickel alloys (600, 601, 625, 800, alloy 20, C-276, C-22, C-2000, Alloy-X), aluminum, monel and others. We stock a variety of plate, sheet, structural and pipe to help enable us to service our customers 24/7. If we do not have what you need in stock, we have large network of suppliers who can help us.
A good deal of what we make involves turning stock material into usable shapes that become components of larger assemblies. To meet that goal, we have a variety of cutting and forming equipment. Our Koike-Aronson CAD/CAM burning table can perform hi-definition and standard plasma cutting as-well-as flame cutting. It is also equipped with a rotating beveling head. The bed can accommodate a 10 ft. x 40 ft. plate. Forming is supported by 3 sets of hydraulic plate rolls (a large and small Roundo pyramid roll, and a large Akyapak 4-roll plate roll), Roundo structural roll, an Accurpress hydraulic press and Niagara hydraulic press.
