Pressure Vessels

Troy Boiler Works, Inc. offers comprehensive design, quotation and manufacturing of pressure vessels of all types, materials and configurations. We have been doing this under our current name since 1947. Design of pressure vessels are done in strict compliance with the ASME code. When an order is placed, our quality control procedures and talented staff assure that all aspects of production, from design, to material order and receipt, to material forming and welding, and final inspection and testing, will guarantee a vessel that meets or exceeds the customer's expectations and requirements.

The purpose of the pressure vessels produced is as varied as the industries we produce them for. Uses include heating of commercial and industrial buildings, process steam and hot-water, pressurized chemical storage and reactors, oil and gas storage and production, pulp and paper applications, waste water applications, research and development applications, VOC abatement, etc.
We have a strong familiarity in working with a variety of materials including pressure vessel quality carbon steel (pvq), chrome-moly steels, most stainless alloys (i.e., 304, 316, duplex), exotic nickel alloys (inconels and hastalloys), monels and aluminum. We are also with familiar with claddings and overlays where composite construction is required.
